At last, been waiting for the site of this film a long time. The film has awesome written all over it. This is one film inshallah that will take Pakistani cinema to another level.
Can't wait for the official release.
One really has to admire him of what he has gone through to make this film.

Its a full length feature film with a budget of 10 crore rupees. I uploaded a full article on the film a few weeks back.

One more important thing regarding Ramchand Pakistani is that the organisation GLOBAL FILM INITIATIVE has listed the film as one of the six films from around the world to be given a grant.
Global film initiatative is an organisation which gives grants to promising and upcoming movie projects from all over the world.

Directors like Altaf hussain should just stick to making Punjabi films.
The subject is completely outdated. Numerous films on the same subject were made in the 1970s unless Altaf Hussain can treat the subject from a different angle and given it the modern touch. This is something which I am sorry but Altaf Hussain is totally incapable of.

Well the industry needs at least one Urdu/Punjabi film every week. The production in the last 3 to 4 years has been very poor. We need at least 50 films to get released every year.
Sangeeta's film "Nasha Jawani Da" in fact is a remake of an old Punjabi film "Jat Kurian To Darda" made in the 1970s. This is what I have read some where.
Sangeeta has also said this is the last of the two films that she had made earlier she does not want to be associated it. Meaning that they are vulgar.
Lets see if she sticks with her promise. Only time will tell with films like Gulabo, Hasino Ka Mela and Dil Se Dil Tak.

Overall I have been some what disappointed with MEDLKA.
For this I have to blame Javed Fazil. First he chose the wrong script in fact it has been reported that the film is copy of the Indian film "Yeh Wada Raha". I have no idea of that. According to Shoaib Alam Dennis Isaac had written another script which Javed Fazil rejected and thought it was too hard to make.
There was a time in the 1980s when the Indians used to copy all the films that Javed Fazil directed.
Basically Javed Fazil had a good producer and should have come up with a much better film. Its a shame that Javed Fazil has wasted this opportunity.
Any how MEDLKA has done more then decent business at the box office and its not a flop.
I can't see why our filmmakers are not releasing the much awaited big films even though it has been nearly over 6 weeks when MEDLKA was released.
Instead the distributors of Spidermen have taken the advantage and released Spidermen 3.

Well I am not surprised what you have said about Mohabbatan Sachchian Afridi Hasnat. Shehzad Rafiq is a very talented and above all a very hardworking director who is totally committed to his work. I just wish that they were more directors like him in our film industry.
For me Salakain has to be propbably the best Urdu film to come out of our industry in the last few years.
The locations were breathtaking. Shehzad Rafiq and his crew went all the way to the Chinese Border with Pakistan and shot some scenes there. It was high altitude and absolute freezing. Thats whats called dedication. No Pakistani TV or Film crew had never gone there before. The scenic beauty of our Northern Areas is out of this world.

This film should have been shown on the big screen in Pakistan so everyone could have enjpoyed it instead of a select few. Unfortunately these select few are the people who never ever appriciate Pakistani Cinema.

Zibahkhana, after doing an exhaustive round of festivals all over the world with even more lined up for the summer, seems to be going pretty strong in Pakistan as well. After a successful show at LUMS, Lahore, it finally comes to Islamabad on June 10.
Word around town of the desi zombie flick coming to the city it actually grew from is making tickets sell like hotcakes. The film will be shown at Islamabad Club at 7:30pm on the June 10 and tickets are available at Hotspot for 250 rupees a pop.
Right after this, it will be showing at the Hotspot basement in Karachi on June 13 and 14. We found out that tickets are selling like hot waffles with ice cream at the Hotspot. The cult film has generated a buzz among movie lovers who are eager to see a slash fest set in the woods of Islamabad.
It's encouraging to note that a self-imposed rating is applied to the screening of the film, with children under the age of 15 not allowed. This shows that filmmakers are sensible people who know how to act responsibly if given a chance, especially by our censor board.

As usual I expected a very negetive review and I have been proofed right.
The most frustrating thing is that instead of writing about the merits and de-merits of the film. Why has the stupid reviewer compared the film to Indian films. Keeps on talking about KG3 and Karan Johar.
Is it a review of a Pakistani film or another to chance the lick the shoes of the Indians. Brillant. We Pakistanis are definetly going in the right direction. Inferior complex Ki inteha.

According to a report in an Urdu daily today Javed Raza, the film director has given the promo and songs of the film to various channels. He wants to release the film next month.

Like Fahim Burney before him Mubasher Luqman boasted alot regarding his film. He thought that coming from TV and that film making is child's play.
Except for Rauf khaslid with Laaj all TV directors have completely failed at film making. They just do not understand the difference between the two meduims.

I agree with you W Q Malik on Billi but I did not want to say it myself as people like bilal were looking forward to watching it.
When the film first come out I read the review in the Nigar weekly that the film was something outstanding but then the review in the Dawn was very critical and rightly so.
Subject wise the film was good but technically, production wise,treatment and direction were poor. It was a time when Syed Noor was directing more then one film at a single given time. The film took 3 years to complete and the producer was so upset with Syed Noor he even asked director Husnain to shoot some scenes of the film to complete it quickly.
Billi definately does not look like a Syed Noor film.

Getting back to the topic. Not has Laila been replaced from Haseenon Key Meley but even Sana has been replaced from Miltay Hai Dil Yahan the other film which is Sangeeta is shooting in Dubai.
Surprise surprise its Meera again who has replaced poor Sana this time.
It looks like the allegations that Laila has made towards Meera are probably right?.

I do hope that Main eik din Loat kat aao ga ends up doing well at the box office and turns out to be a hit.
One thing what the critics have started talking is that it does not matter if you complete all your film in India or have Indian Stars it still does not guarentee success.
Critics are giving examples of Majajan and know Sooha Jora both Pakistani productions doing well.
Its high time that except for post production we should stop going to India and stop wasting money and time.
We need to concentrate on the basics of good film making.
Also someone somewhere somehow should get the latest film making facilties in Pakistan. Its a joke the facilties which are being used in Pakistan.
